DEDETEPE ECOFARM

First step, get to Küçükkuyu!
Or I should say, know how to well pronounce the name of this Turkish village to get to right destination!
Once I bought the ticket and took the dolmuÅŸ from the center of Izmir to the central station, I jumped on the bus that looks more like an airplane cabin than a bus. Both say that of all the buses I could take for the moment, those from Pamukkale company are great. Screens on the seats with music, movies, games, internet, .. socket to charge your electronic devices and snacks served during transport at least every two hours. In this transport you start with a small glass jar... why not?!
Arrival in Kucukkuyu, I had to contact Alp, and it's a different story when english becomes reduced, but the girl from the bus company was great and super patient with me. The call made, I get in the car with Alp, Erkan, Emre and Damien.
In the village, I discover this incredible place !! and met the rest of the small French-Turkish family : Martha and Zeynep.
I was shown my room which is furnished in a converted container and all the farm. Discover each of dwellings whether cabins, yurts, or houses, yoga platform, pool (15 degrees), huge kitchen, steam room and bathrooms, animals, garden, relaxation areas I can not believe everything is beautiful, warm and welcoming, full of good energy. (see article on the farm into ''Bioclimatism'')
We eat with the family and discuss things and others with Damien who is also a volunteer arrived two days ago and will remain six months with the family.
First day is the big cleaning, camps that took place in recent weeks have left some basard, so our first task was to make a big cleaning in the kitchen and sanitary with vinegar and black soap.
A jump in the pool before eating and evenings by the fire to make popcorn.
The other days were of the same ilk, cleaning the garden and the camp in general, and food preparation. But the atmosphere is always great!
It is easy to appreciate it's delicious moments shared with this family that you be part of quickly. It was a pleasure to participate in the life of the farm. We also spend good times on the seafront, yet enjoying the pleasant temperature of the Aegean Sea.
Friday is market day in Kucukkuyu:
At the market, the population is teeming. It's a bit euphoric.
The vegetables basked in the sun that make multicolored stands. The scents of spices, the cries of merchants to advertise the ridiculous price that would be one kilo of pears for a french, 3TL be 1 euro, lemons vendors with different shades of yellow, the clearest are those who have been picked the day before , women with scarves selling their vegetables, eggs and olives. The scents of sheep cheese that invade space.
The sweet scents of raisins, figs and peaches as big as our grapefruits!
The specialties like salÅŸa (dried tomato puree) or candy made from tahini (sesame oil).
A delight for the taste buds as much as for the eyes, with a sun that overlooks each parasol.
I let you discover all this in pictures (because a picture is worth 1000 words) tamam?!
