Let's go ! We stick to everyone in the subway and we must push in, I thought it would be smooth, missed! People are crammed into each car like sardines in a can, and it pushes, it pushes! I have to hold my breath and imminent stop to Shinbashi. Once out, you have to follow the cadence of businessmen not to collide into someone..Fiou! I'm finally at the market. Small wooden carts have been replaced by little trucks that go in all directions. Beware of your toes !!

The fish stalls are open at 9 am, it leaves me time to explore the market. There is a market '' outside '' in which we find lots of seafood dried or vacuumed. Boxes in which you can find kind of chips, it is actually dried fish skin ..

I ended having my breakfast in a sushi place with treadmill.

Fresh tuna in the morning, there's nothing like it!

9:00 !! I embarked in the discovery of the famous stalls of fresh fish. The ground is soaked, but I do not think it's just water .. The lights are low, which gives a very special atmosphere. We hear the saws spin and slice the frozen tuna. The best pieces are exhibited with pride.

Between heads of fish and octopus upside down, I zig-zag between the stands. The smell is also special, but not unbearable.

I have tu hurry up this morning .. I have to take the bus to Mount Fuji so I did not stay long to wander between the stalls and elsewhere it goes very well to me, slow tourists in these narrow corridors anoyed bit to fish sellers, that's what it is.

I go in the crowded bus. We leave Tokyo and the landscape changes quickly from city to country, volcanic reliefs covered with forest. The fall colors are starting. From the highway we see Mount Fuji overlooking the landscape. Once in Kawaguchiko, the Cailllou is in shape! I rent a bicycle at a really nice Japanese man! I have four hours to ride around Saiko and Kawaguchi lakes.

The beginning of the ride along the banks is quite busy. Tourists (mostly Japanese) roam. I quickly gets to a good observation point of Fuji Mount with the lake in the front.

Continuing towards the north, I reach a small village where is held the festival of colors. Maple trees are colored by a flaming red. Moreover we have to wait in line to take the famous photo of the volcano with red maple leaves. Small note, maple trees leaves are tiny compared to those in Quebec, plus ginko also have a beautiful golden color to ring the end of summer!

I keep biking taking advantage of beautiful landscape at every corner around the lake. One ascent of the whole trip that gave me the opportunity to try the 'electrical option' of the bike and it is pretty funny! You feel driven by smoothly and in a rise that makes the difference.

The Lake Saiko compared to its neighbor is much quieter. I take in the last warm rays of sunshine to finish the round, as soon as the shade arrives , you can feel freshness. But we were lucky because not a cloud came tickle the top of Mount Fuji!

For dinner, I also tried the local specialty, the Houtou! This is a soup with chunks of vegetables and pumpkin. In this small pot also bathes big pasta such as anacondas in a pool and that's an all story to eat with chopsticks but everything is really delicious. YUM!
