23h subway exit, from the last step I see the neon lights and hear the noise, but also the smell !!! Pwahhh !! Sewage problem of the neighborhood. Well ! I go to the hostel, and find my favorite britishs and Sami. We spend the evening drinking local alcohol that knocked our head!
The next day is really quiet because Chrismas eve is the next day! My teammate are volunteering to speak english with Korean students in a local cafe, so I went to do some shopping. We changed our plans. It will be Christmas brunch and evening in Korean style. Here Chrismas eve is like Valentine's Day, for those who are alone .. they spend the evening in bars. We follow the flood of volunteers and we pass a beautiful evening in a local bar. Christmas day ! Big brunch, stroll by the sea and fish meals direct to the source ie at the fish market! An nice building with a false pretense with the Sydney Opera House (sorry for the comparison dear Aussies) but the gournd floor is occupied by vendors of shellfishs and crabs and upstairs there are kitchens. We dock at a table and the British choose which octopus we gonna eat!
.
I still have two days in Korea, I have to go back to Seoul to take my flight. On the way I stopped at Gyeongju. This city is particular in the sense that it has a numerous tombs of royal family. The most bizarre is that these graves are hills! There are some trees that have grown on there.
Last stop in Daegu, just to see the museum of Oriental medicine and understand a little more about the thinking behind this kind of medicine that is really interesting!
In short !
I leave Seoul by -8C towards Vietnam !
