After a tiring night: 8 hours with 2 changes of trains, and a race with my 20 kg backpack and finally a nice gentleman who took me to the pier to get my boat in extremis, I set foot on the Croatian land at the port of Split!
The sun has just risen and activities in the port is in full swing! The ferry from Italy throw up their share of cars, trucks and tourists.
On the left, the beauty of the historic city of Split attracts tourists. I walk to the main square lined with bars and cafes. Once my bag put at the hostel where I am wonderfully welcomed by Bruna. I go with Josef, a young German who has dropped his buddies to stay in Split, visit the city with me. After going to the market and in the old town crowded with tourists, we escape to the Suma Marjan park located west of the city. The shade of pine trees is very nice and the views of the coastline and the city are beautiful. After passing next to a church built in the hill, we descend to the sea and find the best spot to do some dives and enjoy a good swim in the Adriatic Sea. On the return, passing through a sculpture museum in which Rodin participate in the collection.
The next day, with Joseph and Nadia (Italian girl), we took the boat to the island of Brac. This is the largest island in the south of Split. We disembark at the port of Supertar and I jumped straight into a bus towards Bol, a village situated on the South coast. After a walk around the village, towards the beach Zlatni known throughout Croatia for its strange shape as a leprechaun hat. This bay is also known for kite surfing and windsurfing!
Night in bars and clubs on the docks after a traverse at sunset.
The next day, towards the north of Croatia. Passage through Trogir and Sibenik.
Sibenik is my favorite city. Built on the heights, there are several streets crowded with people, others deserted. The castle culminates the town and the monastery garden is a little heaven perched in this lovely city. In the evening, I taste Croatian specialties in a small tavern hidden from tourists, a choir of Croatian women singing traditional songs in the alleys and makes the atmosphere mystical.
Le lendemain, passage obligé au Parc national de Krka (prononcé craca), l'eau est d'une couleur hypnotisante et les chutes d'eau majestueuses nous accueillent dans leur berceau. On n'échappe pas à la baignade malgré le monde. The next day, passage to the Krka National Park (pronounced craca), water is a mesmerizing color and majestic waterfalls welcome us in their cradle. We do not escape for a swim despite of the crowd.

I met a French family with an incredible energy and with which I spent 24 hours of my life accompanied by unforgettable exchanges.
For the further adventures direction plitvices park, again water basins and lakes are really beautiful. The waterfalls are even more. We walk on boardwalks through the lakes and falls. Bathed in nature, you let quickly yourself transported between the vortices, lapping, ....
The sky is heavy and the storm threats for several minutes. Around 2 pm, the sky is falling literally on our head! The downpour soaking us as if we were bathed in the lakes! All tourists are fleeing. For me it's time to go back to the park entrance to wait for my bus. The storm ceases only when I arrive in Zagreb.
The next day, meeting with Anna, a Croat ian girl who introduced me to the lake Jarun, a kind of seaside base for the inhabitants of Zagreb. We then made a quick tour in the upper town and we left ourself as good friends. The evening was an unforgettable evening with travelers from all around the world staying in the same hostel. Each person came to sit around the large table by the fire, no one knew each other and everyone shared. We had a magical time!
The next day, discovering of the lower town, the cathedral, street Radiceva (in the image of the old city), the upper town, the Museum of broken relationship .. An afternoon well relaxed in good company.
The next day, departure for Greece.
